What is counted here — and what is missing

Only what is in this database is counted: 1,632 races from one series, 2000 to 2018. This page is therefore not an all-time ranking of motorsport, but the leaderboard of this data set.

The period recorded is 2000–2018; anything before that is missing entirely.

For two of the records the field itself is patchy as well: starting grids and fastest race laps. How much is missing there is given in figures at the respective section.

Longest winning streaks

What is counted here: winning streaks

Counted is the longest streak of consecutive races in THE SAME series AND THE SAME class that the same driver won outright. A streak is broken only by a race he ENTERED and did NOT win: a race he did not start at all is skipped — in RC racing hardly anyone attends every event, many only the rounds in their region. Every class keeps its own streak: a win in another class does not extend it — and a race in which that class was not run does not break it either. The order is that of the race calendar (season, round) — not that of the dates, which differ for rescheduled rounds. The turn of the year breaks nothing: a streak may carry past the end of a season, and an absence may bridge it for any length of time — there is no upper limit on the gap.

Championship rounds — recognisable by the name suffix „(DM)", „(EM)" or „(WM)" — do NOT break a streak: they sit in the middle of their series' calendar and mostly at the end of a season, and whoever loses one would otherwise lose every turn of the year. If a driver wins such a round, it counts entirely normally.

Measured on this request: this selection covers 5,924 class standings (one class in one race) from 1,632 races and 17 classes. The class name comes from the source unchanged — if a series renames its class, for instance because a sponsor is in the name, that counts as a different class and the streak starts again there.

Measured on this request: 44 of 5,924 class standings in this selection do have result rows but no driver in first place (among them the series whose source gives only points and no positions). They break the streak of every driver who started there: an unknown winner is not counted as a win here. Anyone who was not entered keeps their streak.

Every one of the 1,632 races in this selection has result rows; no whole race is skipped here.
