Champions

Listed is only what has its champion from a dependable final standing. Where the database merely recomputes the championship from the points total of the race results, that can be the wrong driver — such seasons are better left empty than wrong:

• Ongoing seasons never count. Whoever leads a championship is top of the table, not yet champion.
• Regional standings do not count as titles. Several German series score a season by region as well (North, West, Central, South, East). Those tables are shown in full on the season pages — but a regional win is not a championship title and would otherwise stand here on a par with a German championship.
• Classes without a single point in a season in which other classes do carry points get no champion — the order there would be guesswork.

If a season is missing beyond that, it is missing from the database: the data set comes from the old RC ranking database and ends in April 2022.
